Weston A. Price was a visionary dentist who journeyed into remote, isolated areas worldwide during the 1930's. He discovered whole tribes where virtually every person (including babies, adults and elders) demonstrated superb health, strength, intelligence and emotional well-being!
Price was surprised to discover that the healthy tribes ate animal fats and animal protein liberally, whether from dairy, eggs, fish, meat or whatever source was available to them. The other striking quality of the healthy diets was the absence of refined sugars, oils, flours, etc. They also had particular techniques of preparing fruits, vegetables, seeds, grains, lacto-fermented beverages, etc. that increased the nutritional value of these foods.
.
Come learn which specific foods and preparation methods brought them such outstanding health!
Presentations by Bari Caine, local co-ordinator for the Weston A.Price Foundation for Reno, NV, as well as various guest speakers.

What if:
...animal and dairy fats are very, very good for you?
...modern soy foods (like tofu and soymilk) can cause serious health problems?
...vegetable oils (such as canola, corn & safflower oils) & hydrogenated oils (such as margarine) contribute to heart disease and cancer?
...Much of the current wisdom and "politically correct" nutritional trends are actually detrimental to your health?
Surprised? Outraged? Intrigued?
You are invited to participate in an exciting series of lectures and forums to learn about healthier ways of eating, and ways to incorporate characteristics of traditional diets into your daily life.
These presentations are geared to those of you with an open mind and an interest in learning about adding delicious, natural, nutrient-dense foods into your diet and in substantially increasing your well-being, stamina, and emotional and physical balance through diet. Prepare to have a great time!
