Coffee Crisis/ Starbucks: As you may know, Global Exchange has for a long time been pressuring Starbucks to increase its commitment to farmers by BREWING Fair Trade coffee in all its stores once a week. The coffee crisis deepens, with the price going under 50 cents in August (it's at 48.5 cents today).

Soy has been HEAVILY marketed as a "super health food", but the health hazards of tofu, soy milk, and many other soy products are not widely known to the general public.
